Dear Valued Guest,
Although the government has declared a State of Emergency, the street protesters have not yet made any signs to disperse. It is also doubtful that the authorities although empowered will take any immediate action to disperse the protestors. Therefore, for the moment, we believe the situation will remain status quo. It is recommended however that for your own safety, not to visit the street protest rally sites and not to take any photographs.
The intersection of Asoke and Sukhumvit is closed to traffic. But access to and from the hotel on Sukhumvit Road is open. Also in the morning, traffic from RAMA 4 and Ratchadapisek is allowed to turn into Sukhumvit to arrive at the hotel.
The roads leading to Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueng Airports are both clear. But it is recommended to leave the hotel four hours before scheduled flight departure. Taxis and hotel limousines are available.
Downtown Traffic is disrupted at a number of major intersections. So it is best to use the BTS sky train and subway systems. BTS tickets are available at the concierge. Most businesses, shops and banks and major tourist sites are operating as normal.
Due to the above situation, we regret to advise that the operations of some of our venues have been temporarily suspended, whilst the operating hours of other venues have been adjusted. The services currently being provided are:-

May I thank you for your understanding. For any further information, please feel free to contact the Assistant Manager or Concierge for further advice.
We will constantly monitor the situation and advise you of any new development. Our assessment is that there is no need for concern. But as guest safety is of paramount importance we will certainly keep you updated.
With kind regards,
